from potatoes to maize
We use our fields for a variety of crops throughout the year. This was previously a potato field, but now we’ve planted maize on it. To give the maize seeds a better chance (and if the weather allows), we dig out the remaining potato shoots. Hands on work, but we believe it makes a difference.
